Its true!! The Bu (malibu) is no longer as of yesterday morning. I had just left my house and turned from Horne to University heading west. I got no further then a 1/4 mile when BAM!! A truck had pulled out from a side street, trying to make a left turn onto University to head east. He just didn't see me for whatever reason and pulled out! I didn't have time to hit the brakes so it was full impact! Luckily I am not seriously hurt, just a sprain ankle, few burns from the airbag, sore arms and neck, and bruised/bump on my head.

I was actually planning to put 20 bucks in it for gas before I headed to school. I'm glad it happened before rather then after cause I probably would try to siphon the gas out! I was also fortunate enough to get out of a test that I was headed to go take. More time to study.... HA!

The Ranch!!

It is now a Hogle Family tradition to head to the ranch every summer and have a big family camp out! This year has totally gone by fast and the camp out snuck up on us! I can't believe it came and went already! This year was way more casual and layed back than it has been in the past! With the families ( minus Me and Jeff ) all getting bigger we try our best to have at least a few days with everyone there. This year the boys put in a tire swing for the grandkids enjoyment and grandmas anxiety! It swings out of the creek a good 20 feet I'd say! We had so much fun with all the rangers taking trips to the store for candy and ice and going fishing as well. Jeff is not much of a fisher but I sure am! At the beginning of the summer I went for the first time tagging along with my brothers using a one of my nephews fishing pole and caught a fish!!! It was my very first fish!! This trip I caught another one and a crawdad which really doesn't count! I need to get myself a pole and some bait so I can do it more often! We all took turns helping prepare food for dinner! I love cooking out doors and eating awesome food all weekend! We had a few camp fires but not too many so we played games in the trailer one night! We taught my dad how to play settlers and he ended up winning.... only cause I directed him in making moves and I would trade with him to hurry and end the game! The second time we played I didn't help him so I didn't feel bad when I beat everyone!!! The kids had a blast playing in grandpas little red wagon and Hunt had fun being in the dungeon pretty much the whole time!! Jeff and I were in a tent while we were there! We have nice sleeping bags and slept like babies! We definitely can't wait for next year!!

We are still alive this summer despite the heat!! Wanna know how our summer is going??? Well let me tell ya!!!!

Not much has changed with Jeff...

I come home to this at least once a week, cute huh!
Jeff its pretty low maintenance these days. Thank you 10 for 10 packs of spaghetti noodles and can spaghetti sauce at frys! What has Jeff learned this summer? He can french braid!! (Pics later) I just told him the basic concept of a french braid and he would always just play around with my hair and then all of a sudden he was super good at it! He can french braid but he can't part it or pony tail it! What is that?!

As for me, I am taking a summer school class. Its only one credit and its almost over thank goodness!! Geology Rocks!! (No it doesn't) I'm also still working over at Tia Rosas just trying to get past the summer there! Its so slow and boring sometimes so come by and say hi and order dessert from me!
I did get a hair cut(5"), but my hair is in a bun right now and I'm too lazy to worry about a picture so you get this cute one of me and Mr. Hunt!

We lost some neighbors, sad day!

We are so excited to have Cody and Sarah as neighbors again! Especially Baby Lucy and soon Baby Janie! I love that Lucy knows which door is ours and will come knock on it! I need to work on getting more toys for her to play with. She also knows that I always have goodies in my cupboards! Jeff likes having Cody back too! These two are BFF's! How often do two best friends get to become brothers!? We really enjoy our wii nights with them as well!

Jeff turned 27 years old on March 31st! We both decided not to do anything too big for each other on our birthdays so I made him a cake. I felt bad last year that I didn't make him a cake so he got a big version and a little version of his favorite, German Chocolate!

Thanks to Nathan Jeff was able to make a birthday wish....several times! :)

In return for my 23rd birthday Jeff made me my favorite cake CONFFETTI with SPRINKLES!! It was so cute and I forgot to get a good picture of it! I was pretty impressed!!

My parents invited Natalie and I over for Sunday dinner May 1st which is Natalie's b-day! Natalie and I have celebrated our b-days several times over the years!! She is exactly 7 years older than me(23) so you do the math! HAHA

Now that school is finally out and I can enjoy my life and sleep in!! Jeff and I got around to cleaning out our second bedroom! We moved our desk out of our front room and into here! We both are really liking the change and extra space in our front room!

Jeff got around to winding up our g-ma clock and now it dings and rings every half hour! I don't mind it!

During the middle of the semester I got a new job at Tia Rosas! I am serving there and enjoying it so far! I bailed our on PF Changs about 2 weeks ago cause of drama and mostly cause they never bumped me up to serving! Any girl that last as long as I did as a backwaiter there would understand but good luck finding one! I also was coaching and ended my club season! I think that I am going to take a break from coaching for a while and just focus on finishing school, only three more semesters. I have gone from 3 jobs and full time student to one job and swimming! :) I am super excited for camping and the ranch and just chillin!! Hopefully I will stay on top of this blog!!

Sorry my blog has been so lame lately!! Anyone that knows me knows that I am pretty chill and relaxed. I don't usually stress a whole lot but this semester has definitely been a lot more busy and stressful. Here is why:

1. School- Yes I am in school and Yes I don't like it! You know me... "school is for fools!" I am taking 16 credit hours!! Public Speaking, Orientation to Educate the Exceptional Child, Physical Activity and Fitness Concept, Physical Activity Promotion in the High School, Physical Education for the Elementary School, and Geology Lab! So far I think I'm passing!

2. Jeff's School- Yes he is also going to school full time! Hopefully, cross your fingers, he will be able to graduate by December!!

3. Volleyball- This doesn't really stress me out but it does take up time!! If I'm not playing in a league, then I'm at practices. If I'm not at practice, then I'm coaching at a tournament. If I'm not coaching at a tournament then I'm hosting a tournament! Its all worth it, I love volleyball!!

4. Work- PF is still going strong, but it also sucks! It definitely keeps me motivated to keep going to school so I don't have to work there for the rest of my life! Note that PF is my one of two jobs and starting soon I will have a third job!

5. Jeff's Work- Jeff's job is not stressful at all! He loves it and it is so perfect for him while he is in school. It would be nice if he could work more hours though. So if you or anyone you know wants to have a yard service give me a call or Jeff!!

Second half of this post is about babies!

For the record I am AUNT ABBY times 38!! With 5 on the way!!

Don't get all excited or anything! I'm not announcing!! But I have noticed lately that everyone is having babies but me!! Yes I want babies!! But I also want to finish school!! I'm ok with being Aunt Abby for a while, I'm good at it!! I kinda enjoy not having to chase kids around 24/7! I have Jeff to feed and take care of and I like that! :) I know that being patient and waiting for a more appropriate time to have kids will pay off! I also won't have the fear of my mom taking the baby away from me for having one too young with out an education!!

Jeff and I had a wonderful, fun filled evening! Thomas and Jenny came with us to get taco's from the backyard taco place! AMAZING!! Then we headed back to our place and made Ginger Bread (AKA Graham Cracker) Houses! Kenzi and Callen joined in for the house making! It was so much fun!!

Jeff and I all ready for Christmas! I love our little tree and BIG presents! This was the first year we had our nativity set up and its nice to have so we remember the true meaning of Christmas!

I got pretty into building the house!!

2 Years of Marriage

Jeff and I have been married for 2 whole years!! I can't believe how fast it has gone be but at the same time we have experienced so much! We recently have moved into a new apartment in Mesa and we are loving it! Pictures of the apartment are to come once I finish my Christmas decorations! I love Jeff so much!! He truly has been so wonderful and sweet to me and I couldn't thank him enough for all he does to make me happy! Here are some reasons why I love him!

Cool the eggs, I let them chill out in some cold water!

De-shell, cut into halfs and pop out the yolks!

Add Mayo and Mustard! Mayo is way better than yucky Miracle whip!

Jeff and I went to Vegas with my good friend Ashley and her husband Dallin which happened to be Jeff's cousin!! It was super fun but I don't think we'll be going back anytime soon! Trying to upload pictures on blogger is so frustrating so sorry for them being out of order!

For those of you who didn't know...I hate my anatomy class and teacher!! My teacher is the head of the department and is super super strict and crazy!! I have been pretty confident the past few week that I was gonna fail the class! If you didn't know....school is NOT my thing! So after taking my first test in our lab class I felt like I actually might have done OK! Surprising..I know!! I was anxious all weekend to get my results back the next time I had class! Finally I got my test back and.........

96%!!!!
And then after proving my teacher wrong that Cilated Pseudostratified Columnar Epithelium Tissue was found in the nasal cavity she owed me a half point and I wanted it! So she had to change my grade so.......

97%!!!!

He is so great at knowing music, he knows every oldies band and every punk or rock song and every 311 song too! I also thing he is pretty dang good at singing (good luck getting him to sing for you) and air drumming too! I would love to have him teach our kids how to play the guitar and drums one day....it would be the Standage Band! I tried once before to sneek a video of him playing his electric but when he figured it out he said no blogging it! So sorry theres no footage! Anyways I love that Jeff is so talented in music because I sure as heck am not!

So I finally decided to bite the bullet and just get this major post out of the way. It's not the greatest but at least it will fill you in! I'll try to post more pictures later about the wedding!!

So Jeff and I are finally hitched, and in these pictures we are off to our honeymoon in Cali. We had so much fun and the drive wasn't too bad.

One great thing about Cali is there are tons of 7 elevens so of course we had to stop and get some Big Gulps!!!

Our hotel was right next to Disneyland, but due to the fact that we had a low budget we didn't go to Disneyland. We had some plans for Sea World but things didn't work out... long story! But the cool thing about the hotel we stayed at was it was right across the freeway from where they light off all the fireworks every night. The first night the fireworks went off we were actually in down town Disney so we didn't realize that they were going off by our hotel. The second night we were there we were at our hotel and we heard these super super loud booms. When we went out side we discovered our amazing view of the the firework show. I got some sweet footage!

Coming home from our honeymoon was also a good drive until we hit Buckeye, all the Thanksgiving traffic was heading into town. So once we were finally home we started getting our home put together. When you walk in you see our Standage sign (which we didn't steal).

This is a picture of New York to go along with my New York themed home. Funny thing is our outer walls are pure concrete making it pretty difficult to hang on the outer walls. Don't be fooled by the picture hanging there, Jeff and I plastered the back of it with scotch tape to see how long it would last hanging on the wall. It was up about 5 minutes until it came down. Oh and please excuse the absence of a frame....I'm too poor and lazy for a frame.

Here is my beautiful Kitchenaid which i love love love!!!! Thanks so much to all the ladies from my bridal shower who pitched in!!!!

Oh and did I tell you about the train that is a half mile down the road from us?? For some reason it is so loud in the morning and it always wakes me up! I think it is exra loud by our house because it echoes due to all the empty fields out here. Anyways I don't like the train!!

Here is my beautiful couch!! I LOVE MY COUCH!!!!! When i was looking around for a couch for my home all i wanted was a red couch! I found this one and i got to pick the color and fabric. Luckily they had the perfect color and perfect fabric choice for it!!! I also got a super sweet deal for it! If you want to know where i got it it was Expo Furniture in Chandler next to the place where i get my eyebrows waxed! :) Oh and note the super cute coffee table...Jeff made it for me!!!

And then it was Christmas time, note my lovely Christmas tree.

For Christmas Jeff made me a night stand and totally surprised me!! I'm usually pretty good at ruining surprises for myself but this time he totally did it behind my back making it a really good surprise! I love it and it matches our bedroom so well! He also gave me the two little buildings you see. Its the Chrysler building and the Empire building. I love New York and i especially love it now since my husband served his mission in the city.

I got my wedding pictures back and i really really like them! I got them all printed and in a book and all organized! I'm pretty proud of myself cause i hate doing stuff like that!

We got some new neighbors! We are so excited to have Sarah and Cody be our nieghbors and have some friends! Its great that Jeff and Cody still get to be so close!

And last but not lease...for the whole first month and a half of our marriage Jeff''s car has had a bad battery. If we had to use it all we had to do is jump it and it was good for the day. But when the truck battery went bad we finally had to stop being white trash and buy new batteries.

Heres the quick story....

Jeff got me to come out side my house to his car to go look at a drawing he drew today while he was "bored." It was supposed to be a doodle of a llama named Larry! But when he showed me this framed picture it was really this..

This is a pencil drawing of the side walk were Jeff and I first told each other "I LOVE YOU!" Notice the cute house in the background! Then he got down on one knee in the exact place where we first kissed and asked me to marry him! Of course i said YES and then he put the most beautiful ring (that i picked out) on my finger!! The end!

I'm not gonna lie i kinda new that he had the ring and that he was gonna ask me this week! I started getting really cranky because he was taking forever to ask me! But i forgive him now for taking so long, i now know why it took a while!

After a year and a half of dating we are finally engaged and we plan to be married in November!!

I sold my car!!!

Here is Coopers very first picture!! I am proud to say that I, Aunt Abby, was one of the first to hear of his arrival!! Nat and David choose me to be the lucky one to watch Lexi while they had the baby!! They gave me a call and let me know the good news that Nat was at the hospital getting ready! Lexi was with their friends until I got done with Ashley's wedding so I could go pick her up. As soon as the bouquet toss was over Jeff and I rush to go get Lexi so we could get her in bed, it was already passed her bed time! About right when I got Lexi in bed is the same time David text me and let me know that Nat was getting ready to deliver. An hour later Cooper was born!! And thats when I finally told my parents that Lexi was down stairs in our basement asleep! I loved the reaction on my moms face when she put 2 and 2 together! They had no idea that Nat was even at the hospital in labor, like i said i was one of the very few who knew!! I kind of had to hold my mom back from running to the hospital! I wanted to give Nat and David and Cooper some rest before the Grandma came! Anyways thats the story of the week and I am so glad that he is here!!! I haven't seen him yet but I sure can't wait to meet him!! I'll make sure to post more about him, AKA pictures later!!!!

So I finally returned form Hawaii!! I had such an awesome trip! I like to call it a business trip because i went for work but not really! I was there to help coach the Molten 18's team for a couple tournaments! It is such a great experience to see volleyball in Hawaii! You learn so much about the game and how to become a better player (or coach) while you were there! I forgot to take pics of the girls playing so sorry there are no actual volleyball pictures! Anyways we had a really awesome trip! I even got to play in one of the tournaments because it was an open division! I loved being able to get out into the game again and show the high school girls how its done! JK! I was really rusty on my passing but not to shabby on my hitting! Probably because i could hit over the short hawaiians! Anyways! The last day we were there we got to hang out at the beach all day! Guess what i did....got burned! :/ But its ok! My plan is that it will turn brown and i won't be so white anymore! I look like a lobster right now so thats why you see me with lobster claws in some of my pictures! I made a slideshow so i hope you enjoy!!

Ok So I don't know if you could tell by the last post but I am really starting to like PHOTOGRAPHY! I have never really done it before but i have always been interested! 5 things you don´t know about me...
1. I own my very own kitchen table! It was a Christmas gift to me the past year and i love it!!!! It can be extended with leaves and has 6 chairs! It is so cute and is perfect for when i am off on my own! (Not any time soon ladies of the ward)
2. I kinda have an obsession with the Freedom Boardshop T-shirts! They are amazing!!!!!!! Probably the most comfortable shirts that i own and i wear them all the time! The fabric is so soft and it doesn't shrink or hug the problem areas! :)
3. I don't know if this is news to any one but i love love love the Arizona Heat!!!!!! I love summer time in AZ! I would rather be in summer 24/7 than any other time of the year! I know it can get too hot at some times but i love it and would never want to leave it!!!! Kinda random but, one time i sat on a penny that had been baking in my car all day long and i had a burn make of Abe Lincoln on the back of my thigh for like 2 weeks!
4. I am a pro at steering my car with my knees! I learned this trait from my father of course and have been doing it sense i have been driving the little red bomb! I usually steer with my knees on straight aways and bending roads but i have mastered a couple corners (32nd & Harmony) with just my knees! Its very helpful if i am trying to eat or read a text or find a song on ipod or just simply relax!
5. This is kind of strange but i have finger toes! Well at least my mom thinks i do! I am really good at using my toes to help pick things up or to open a door or random things like that! They aren't superduper long or anything i mean i still wear a size 8 1/2 shoe! I think my toes are cute even though my smallest piggy is kind of sideways and has hardly any toenail on it! It just helps me fit into my smaller heels even better!!! :)

Hope i didn't give too much info for one person that doesn't know me to handle! I am pretty crazy! Ok i tag Jessica because she needs to post really bad....its starting to drive me crazy girl!

So i have this cute pair of jeans that i don't really wear that often so i decided i am going to try and sell them! I took them to Name Brand Exchange to see how much they would give me for them! They were going to try and rip me off by buying them for 18 bucks!! YA RIGHT! These are Frankie B's we are talking about! These are brand new and still in good condition!! So i'm probably going to sell them on ebay but i thought i would at least put them up for sale on my blog! They are a size 6 and long enough to fit me so you do the math! So let me just start of by telling you I LOVE MY JOB! Here's why.......

Every year my CGCC coach (Coach Vee) takes her club team to hawaii during spring break. She takes her 18's team to give them a harsh reality check on how much better the Hawaiians are at volleyball than Mainlanders. They have ball control and we don't....seriously! Lucky for me i had the chance to go with her my senior year when i played on her club team! It was so much fun and i had a great experience! Now that i have 2 years of awesome junior college volleyball under my belt i am a coach of my own! I coach the Molten 14, 4's team! Anyways back on track here, to make a long story short.....I was talking to Coach Vee about her going to Hawaii this spring and of course i had to ask if i could go (cause you never know) and to my surprise she told me that she could really use my help!! She also informed me that there was only one plane ticket left and it had my name all over it!!!!! So pretty much we both decided that i would be going with them for 7 days to hawaii to help coach! I am so excited!!!!! Volleyball has 2 sides to it, playing and coaching! Playing in the game and being on the team is fun but being a coach has its advantages! I finally get to go into the hospitality rooms and eat the muffins!!!!!! So that pretty much sums it all up! I love my job because it gets me a free trip to hawaii for 7 days....and i get muffins!

OHHH back to school, back to school to prove to dad that I'm no fool!

Well let me just start off by saying that I feel that winter break just wasn't long enough...or it just went by too fast! Today was the is the first day of school for me this semester and I'm not really excited! Since I am no long having to play volleyball i can take classes whenever i want! I am taking all my classes on Mondays and Wednesdays! I have never done it like this before and all i can say so far is that it is going to be a long semester! I'm going to need all the help i can get with this semester! We'll see how it goes, wish me luck!

MEXICO

Well I'm back from Mexico! Since I haven't gone on any vactions for a while it felt really good to get a way! I put up a couple pictures so feel free to follow along as I take you on a tour!

Picture #1: This picture is of Jeff and I after about 6 or 7 hours in the truck with about another hour to go! As you can tell by my hair I don't do good in car rides.....ESCPECIALLY SLOW ONES!!

Picture #2: This is me sitting on the balcony of the house when I finally arrived in Kino Bay!

Picture #3: This is the taco shop! This is one of the biggest reasons why i wanted to go down to Mexico! It is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! I was so sad that i only had the chance to eat there once this trip!!!!!!! (once again.....ignore the car ride hair)

Picture #4: When we returned from dinner my sister-in-law Melissa wanted to play with a few fireworks! I shot of a few Roman Candles and M-80's! We also had a few giant sparklers that were lots of fun until they burnt out!

Picture #5: The next day we were just chillen out on the balcony drinkin Coke's and surprisingly it was super hot so TC and I decided to go swimming! But once i put my feet in i changed my mind about swimming!

Picture #6: Later that evening there was a really pretty sunset!

Picture #7: Since there was such a pretty sunset i couldn't pass up the great picture opportunity! I forced Jeff to come take some cute pictures with me! Thanks Jeff!

Picture #8: The next day we all went out to this dry lake bed to go shoot of these pretty sweet rockets! But since it was so windy the rockets would get blown away real far so Jeff and I were the rocket go getters!

Picture #9: This is me wearing TC sun glasses that he bought at the Del Mar the place where we get Coca Cola!! (I can't even tell you how many Coca Cola's i drank, they are so good their!)

Picture #10: Later on that evening there was another amazing sunset, and ya I made Jeff take a few more pictures with me!

Picture #11: Since it was too windy to shoot off fireworks and have a camp fire on New Years Eve we did it the next day instead! It actually was just as fun because it was Melissa's Birthday too! She is old....23!

Picture #12: After we shot off all the fireworks we chilled around the fire drinkin Coke's and made fun of Tc. You can see the house we stayed in in the background! Its pretty off the hook!

Well that pretty much sums up the Mexico trip! I'll probably put up a slideshow of all the photos that i took!

Well I'm off, I'm heading to Mexico this weekend! My sister-in-law invited Jeff and I to go down to KINO BAY with her family for the New Year! I went down there for spring break this past year and I had so much fun! I can't wait to go again! I will be sure to blog all about it!

I am starting to get really excited for Christmas......as if you couldn't tell by my blog already! All the decorations are up (minus the ornaments) and all my presents are wrapped! Today I went shopping with my two good buddies Jessica and Ashley to finish off getting all my gifts for everyone. Of course, I had to spoil myself and get my self a pair of shoes which you will see on Sunday! Merry Christmas...TA ME!!!! And I couldn't finish the day with out a cookie exchange with my friends! I made the delicious store bought, premade Nestle Toll House cookie dough cookies that are a little on the dark side. I didn't have much time to make real homemade cookies because I was busy wrapping my presents and getting ready for practice. Anyways today just made me even more excited for Christmas!!!!!!! I love this time of year because everyone has the wonderful Christmas spirit! Also it is the time to celebrate the birth of our Savior, which is the true meaning of Christmas!!!! I hope everyone has a good holiday and that they never forget why we celebrate Christmas in the first place!

Since my volleyball season is done at CGCC i had to get a job! Well i found one, actually two! I work for an accounting firm call Chaffee Traasdahl. I pretty much sit on the phone the whole time and call people to see if they need an accountant. I really like working there so far! I have my own office and desk and computer! I feel so official! Check out my work buddies!!!!

She is the recptionist Carol! I always come visit her because she has chocolate at her desk!!

This is Dane, he is the guy who hired me!!!! He has a BLOG too!

Here is Dave, he is Danes dad! I found out that Dave likes to text! So now Dave and I are texting buddies!

And here is me! I really like hanging out with my new work buddies because they are all real nice and fun! I'm glad that they choose me to be apart of their office!!!!

For my second job, I am the head coach of the 14's 4 team for Molten Volleyball Club! You can call me Coach Abby! Today was my first day for this season! I had to go to try outs and pick my girls! What a day, but i got my girls and we start our practices Dec. 4th! Wish me luck!
