South of the Border!

Well I'm off, I'm heading to Mexico this weekend! My sister-in-law invited Jeff and I to go down to KINO BAY with her family for the New Year! I went down there for spring break this past year and I had so much fun! I can't wait to go again! I will be sure to blog all about it!

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas!!!

I am starting to get really excited for Christmas......as if you couldn't tell by my blog already! All the decorations are up (minus the ornaments) and all my presents are wrapped! Today I went shopping with my two good buddies Jessica and Ashley to finish off getting all my gifts for everyone. Of course, I had to spoil myself and get my self a pair of shoes which you will see on Sunday! Merry Christmas...TA ME!!!! And I couldn't finish the day with out a cookie exchange with my friends! I made the delicious store bought, premade Nestle Toll House cookie dough cookies that are a little on the dark side. I didn't have much time to make real homemade cookies because I was busy wrapping my presents and getting ready for practice. Anyways today just made me even more excited for Christmas!!!!!!! I love this time of year because everyone has the wonderful Christmas spirit! Also it is the time to celebrate the birth of our Savior, which is the true meaning of Christmas!!!! I hope everyone has a good holiday and that they never forget why we celebrate Christmas in the first place!

Enrichment Night!

Tonight we had a fun enrichment night with all the ladies in the infamous Harmony Park Ward! We were all assigned to different homes for dinner then road the Polar Express Train to the Sherwood's for dessert! I truly BELIEVE that it was a great success and everyone had a wonderful time!!!

I'm A Working Woman!

Since my volleyball season is done at CGCC i had to get a job! Well i found one, actually two! I work for an accounting firm call Chaffee Traasdahl. I pretty much sit on the phone the whole time and call people to see if they need an accountant. I really like working there so far! I have my own office and desk and computer! I feel so official! Check out my work buddies!!!!

She is the recptionist Carol! I always come visit her because she has chocolate at her desk!!

Here is Dave, he is Danes dad! I found out that Dave likes to text! So now Dave and I are texting buddies!

And here is me! I really like hanging out with my new work buddies because they are all real nice and fun! I'm glad that they choose me to be apart of their office!!!!

For my second job, I am the head coach of the 14's 4 team for Molten Volleyball Club! You can call me Coach Abby! Today was my first day for this season! I had to go to try outs and pick my girls! What a day, but i got my girls and we start our practices Dec. 4th! Wish me luck!

Missing the Tan

Ok so i know this is a really attractive picture of me stuffing my face with a delicious strawberry short cake but look how tan i was. I really miss my brown skin!!! :( I have been stuck in a gym for the passed 3 months and havent had a chance to be out in the sun!!!! This is another one of the disadvantages of winter, being so white!!!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

HALLOWEEN was so much fun! Since my wonderful parents decided to go to California with out me this weekend i got to stay home and pass out candy! Thanks to Ashley i got to give all the big kids that cant seem to grow out of the trick or treating stages of life the small pieces of candy. All the cute little kids got the KING SIZE! My wonderful Jeff came to help me but was a party pooper and didnt dress up! I was supposed to be Jackie Kennedy but not to many people got it so i just said i was a 50's Barbie! My MOM has more pictures of the family and their cute costumes on here blog! In the end i had a pretty good Halloween! Cant wait until Next year!!!! ;)

OK so i know i have been a lazy bum at blogging lately but here are some pictures from my very last game! I had lots of fun this season with my team and getting to know everyone! I am gonna miss being with my sophmore buddies Rachel and Jenna! They are the best and i couldnt have made it through this season without them!!!!! Winter!

I know it's only September and it's just barely starting to cool down just a tiny bit. But, i'm getting ready for winter! I often think about this especially when i'm daydreaming during school! I'm gonna list all the Pros and Cons of winter so i can decide if i'm excited or not so excited for winter to come! Let me know what you think are also Pros and Cons of winter!

Pros

1. Hoodies/Long Sleeves

2. Hot Chocolate

3. Winter Grass

4. Thanksgiving/Christmas. (Includes Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas music, Christmas lights, Eggnog, Etc..)

5. Cooler weather rather then triple digits.

6. Campfires and fires in the fireplace.

Cons

1. Trying to wake up and get out of my warm bed.

2. It's freezing in the morning and night!

3. No more swimming.

4. Shaving ice off of windshield in the mornings.

5. Everyone gets sick.

6. No more flip flops.

TRAFFIC JAM!

After a long day at school and practice i finally got to head home! I can take two different ways to get home from the gym. One way is to take the freeway all the way home or to cut through Gilbert. Today i decided to take the freeway.....BAD IDEA!!!!! I started on the 202 and worked my way down and connected to the 60 and right as i passed Power Road i realized that there was traffic ahead. I was stuck for like 45 minutes just to move a mile and a half! I called my mommy to ask her why there was traffic, and i guess there was an accident on the bridge above Greenfield. Every one on the freeway had to exit!!! I also had this crazy bus that was behind me and it kept trying to push me out of the lane so it could get ahead! People start acting like monkeys when they are all trying to exit the freeway, let me tell ya! Since i had so much time i started to play games on my Ipod and texting on my phone. I thought i would never make it out!

Welcome to Miami

This past weekend my volleyball team and I went down to Thatcher, Arizona for a tournament. Our last game was on Saturday morning, so as soon as we were done beating that last team we hoped into the Chandler-Gilbert Community College van and headed for home!!! On our way back I convinced my coach to let us stop in MIAMI/Globe to eat at the Burger House! This place is delicious! If you have never stopped to eat here then you are absolutly crazy! I normally get the Green Mix Burrito's. But to tell you the truth...its all good! If your looking to get out of town for a few hours i recommend Miami, Arizona.

Option....or Obsession??

Last semester i had a big 2 hour break in my schedule so everyday i would go to the coyote cafe and pick myself up a breakfast burrito! This is when i discovered CHOLULA SAUCE!!!! I started to steall it out of the cafetiria so i could eat my burritos in the athletic office. I keep it in suply almost everywhere! It is the best hot sauce ever and i am obsest with it! I pore this stuff on like crazy! I eat it with my breakfast burritos and my eggs and my flop overs! Its so good!!!!! I wish i knew where to find the really big bottles of if like the ones they have at Giant Hamburger! Note the picture below! Again...ignore Rachel and her crazy face in the backround!

I highly recomend Cholula Sauce for all your hot sauce needs!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!

Dancing Coyoties!

This is the CGCC volleyball team performing our stomp dance! I am on the far right! (Please ignore Rachel...she is pretty white and very off beat!)

So i dont know if i have told anyone but my volleyball coach can be a little crazy sometimes! She came up with grand idea to make the whole team learn and perform a new dance every tuesday before practice! And if we dont do the dance we have to run 50 laps! So far we have done a Hula and a Stomp and a Tongan dance and a Blast from the Past dance! Sometimes i would like to know what goes on inside my coaches head!

Computer Nerd!

This is a shout out to my CIS 105 class! Im in class right now not paying attention, so i thought i would at least give a shout out! I Got A Hair Cut!

I finally got a hair cut! Dont worry i didn't chop off all my hair! Actually you can't even tell i cut it! I only took off about 3 inches, all the dead stuff! I kept the same style so still no change in my boring hair! Well sorry i dont really have any thing interesting to post, i'll keep working on finding somthing interesting to post about! I need a hair cut! Its to the point were im starting to go crazy! Im also thinking about changing it up a bit! Does anyone have any cute ideas of how i should cut my hair? Please let me now! I still want it to look long though! So a buzz its out of the question....even though that would be nice!

Farewell!

This is my FAREWELL, i am now a full time coyote! Today is August 1st, the first day of official practices for my 2nd year of volleyball at CGCC! I am a slave to volleyball! The first few weeks i am going to be pretty much living in a gym, but when i find time i will hopefully be able to blog to you about how practices are going! So FAREWELL everybody!
